Chipa and Gladys' Surprise Proposal
So the gentleman (Chipa) in these pics and I had been planning this whole thing for months. He really wanted to do the whole picnic thing but we were in two minds about it because of the weather. Eventually he decided to just go for it. My husband and I got to the park nice and early. We even marked which spot they should sit at. Once the marking was made I sent my client a message just to let him know. While chilling in the bush… I almost got attacked by a dog… I had kids watching me like I was a creepy stalker…Bugs were having their way with me. Funtimes :) So while the couple was chilling I realised that I had to move closer. I was freaking out. At some point I almost surrendered because I thought she was gonna see me which she didn’t. Thank God! Once I got nice and close I had to make sure that all the pics were in focus. I had to deliver because this was a once off moment. A moment my client was trusting me to capture perfectly…ya neh,talk about pressure. Eventually the big moment happened. After the proposal and all the tears. My partner in crime and I came out of the bushes to congratulate the couple. The lady was so surprised…lol! It was at that moment I knew that we had pulled it off. I then took a few more pics of them soaking up the moment. Man.. it was beautiful.
